Brookside Equity Partners makes controlling private equity investments in middle-market companies with $3 million to $15 million of EBITDA. Our philosophy is to partner with excellent management teams to help create long-term value.

Brookside Equity Partners is not a fund. We invest our firms own capital and our investment horizons are determined by the needs of the businesses in which we invest rather than predetermined by outside limited partners. This flexibility distinguishes us from other private equity groups who may be forced to seek an investment realization based on fund raising cycles rather than legitimate business reasons. In other words, we are patient partners. Management teams can take comfort in the fact that exit decisions will be based solely on business fundamentals, we will not be forced to exit an investment at an inopportune time, and exit decisions will be made in partnership with management. In addition, investments are structured with a conservative capital base and term that is appropriate for the company in which we are investing.
Brookside Equity Partners works closely with management to build a foundation for future success. We assist management in the development and execution of strategic initiatives including new product introductions, geographic or channel expansion, acquisitions and operational efficiencies.

In addition to directly sponsoring leveraged buyouts, Brookside Equity Partners will also invest with other investment firms in both majority and minority positions. Through these co-investments, Brookside Equity Partners is able to achieve better investment diversity and create a broader universe of potential investment opportunities.
