Brookside Select Managers Funds invest in hedge funds, long-only funds, separate accounts and, on a limited basis, mutual funds. We seek managers with the potential for returns that consistently exceed the broader market indices with reasonable drawdown.

Our strategy towardpublic markets investing differs frommost funds-of-funds due to the following:

• Avoid black box strategies and multi-strategy funds
• Avoid high leverage strategies
• Seek managers who rigorously apply fundamental, bottom-up analysis
• Seek managers that provide capital preservation while not giving up too much upside capture; not trying to be market neutral
• Offer managers who are closed, charge us reduced fees and/or are unavailable to most investors
• Offer a unique combination of select hedge funds, long-only funds, separate accounts and, on a limited basis, mutual funds
