Brookside Public Market Partners invests in the public markets, typically through third-party public managers. We seek managers with the potential for returns that consistently exceed the broader market indices with reasonable drawdown risk.
Brookside Public Market Partners currently manage two multi-manager funds:
- Brookside Select Managers I is our internal multi-manager fund. Established in 1996, this fund has no outside investors and solely invests The Brookside Groups internally generated capital.
- Brookside Select Managers II is our external multi-manager fund. Drawing on the successful long-term track record of the internal fund, Brookside Select Managers II was established in 2005. The fund was initially established as a vehicle through which friends and family could invest. In 2007, Brookside Select Managers II opened to third-party investors.
In addition to managing the multi-manager funds listed above, Brookside Public Market Partners makes direct investments in public securities, using solely the capital of The Brookside Group, and occasionally provides advisory services to hedge funds.
